Still life with pineapple
Another retrospective from my 2008 series of still life paintings. It is "Still life with pineapple" oil on canvas painting which sizes 24" x 18". The painting is less "decorative" in style and in my humble opinion carries a lot of transparency and strong feeling of "magical realism" painting style. From Canadian artist to all art lovers with respect.

This is a lovely piece, your colours are so vibrant and there is as alicia stated a simplicity that is so endearing. I can see that the work must have taken you some considerable time from all the detail evident in the work.

The painting is not a jumbled up work, it is simple, and leaves a very unambiguous impression on the mind…….that is it’s simplicity, and as you have mentioned the magical transparency.
